Principle introduction
Flame photometer is an analytical instrument based on emission spectrum. Including: gas and flame combustion part, optical part, photoelectric converter and detection and recording part. The process is that the sample is sprayed into the flame by atomizer to excite luminescence, and the emission intensity is measured by detector after spectrophotometry, which is proportional to the content of the elements to be measured in the sample. Using the heat energy of flame to excite the atoms of an element to emit light, and using the instrument to detect the intensity of its spectral energy, and then to judge the content of an element in the substance, this kind of instrument is called flame photometer. For flame photometer, due to the limitation of flame excitation energy, it is generally only suitable for quantitative analysis of alkaline metals in a certain concentration range.
Field of use
1. Testing of cement, glass, ceramics and refractory materials.
2. Testing of fertilizers and soil.
3. Testing in the pharmaceutical and beverage industries.
4. Testing of petroleum, metallurgy, mining and chemical products.
5. Testing of some alkaline metals in hospitals, educational institutions and other fields.
Main features of instrument
1. Both K and Na are displayed, with a display switch included.
2. It features easy operation through touch buttons.
3. It has a pre-set flame size function.
4. Three range options are available.
5. It has an ignition protection device.
6. It has an RS232 interface, allowing connection to printers and computer PC software.
7. It comes with a moisture separator.
Technical parameter
1. Measured elements: Potassium (K), Sodium (Na)
2. Measurement range: K: 0 - 100 ug/ml, Na: 0 - 100 ug/ml
3. Detection limit: K: ≤ 0.004 mmol/L, Na: ≤ 0.008 mmol/L
4. Stability: When using standard solutions for continuous sampling, the relative maximum change in the instrument's reading within 15 seconds is ≤ 3%
5. Measure once per minute, a total of 6 measurements. The relative maximum change in the instrument's reading within this period is ≤ 15%
6. Reproducibility: For the same standard solution, conduct 7 consecutive independent measurements. The relative maximum change is ≤ 3%
7. Linear error: K: ≤ 0.005 mmol/L, Na: ≤ 0.03 mmol/L
8. Curve calibration method: Two-point method
9. Sample aspiration and injection volume: < 6 mL/min per minute
Explanation: 1 mg/L = 1 ug/ml = 1 ppm
